New Media Institute Part of The University of Georgia’s prestigious Grady College of Journalism and Mass communication, The New Media Institute is an interdisciplinary certificate program which provides students with theoretical and practical knowledge of developing digital media systems. The New Media Interdisciplinary Certificate (NMIC) is earned alongside the student’s major and is designed to compliment the student’s chosen field of study.
